PEI Addition

Jamie and I moved to Alberta 4 years ago (holy crap has it actually been THAT long?) And in the time, we have taken a LOT of trips to PEI, but we don't often get the joy of having someone from PEI coming out here to visit.

This month that changed. Jamie's Uncle and Aunt came to visit us for 2 days earlier this month. Here are a few highlights....

Walking home from the park, Donovan loves to knock on this fence and say "hello?" I could only imagine the look on his face is someone was there one day!!

In the Air Again

Donovan and I are leaving town tonight on a spur of the moment trip to PEI. We will be gone for two weeks, so to hold you over until I get back, some pictures.

Surprise Trip

So last night we were talking to Jamie's parents, and on top of Cheryl's (Jamie's mom) need to back surgery and a hip replacement, she just came down with Shingles.

I couldn't take it anymore, I HATE being so far away from them, I miss them so much, and I haven't seen any of them since July.

So this morning, Jamie and I talked about it, and I booked a ticket to go to PEI for a couple weeks. Jamie won't be able to get time off work on such short notice, but Donovan and I will leave on the 5th and return on the 19th. My stomach is flip flopping with excitement and nerves!
